Elaine Daae

I’m a Canadian artist from Calgary Alberta. In 1980 I took commercial art in Northwestern College in St. Paul Mennesota.. This gave me the background to be able to do a few Children’s books as well as some adult text books. I also painted mainly oils on canvas for my personal work. At that time I was involved with a gallery circuit that rotated my works around the country. After having children I took approximately 30 years off my art work and it was just in 2020 that my children encouraged me to start painting again. In the past year my work is evolving and I use mainly watercolors. I love working with this medium it can be both subtle and brilliant.
