Originally from Quebec and she lived there for her first 40 years. A visual artist since 1981, she first explores oil mediums, expresses herself through photography and, in the early 2000s, she returns to acrylic painting by adding mixed media. Today her pictorial approach is inclusive of different techniques of drawing, painting, engraving and photography.
During the 1980s, she attended several private art schools and perfected her technique with a few figurative painters from Quebec. She participates in numerous exhibitions and solo and group exhibitions. In the space of 5 years, she produced nearly 300 figurative paintings that delight her collectors.
It was in 1985 that she embarked on a university career in the visual arts which introduced her to her subject of expression which still remains the same today: female identity. In 1989, she completed a bachelor's degree in visual arts at Laval University in Quebec City and a master's degree in creative arts at UQAC in 1998.
In 2006, she created self-knowledge workshops with the arts that she continues to offer.
Poetic writing has been a part of her life since adolescence and it was in 2017 that she published her first collection of poetry and visual arts entitled Breaking the Walls of Silence.
She currently lives in Danville, in the Eastern Townships, where she has her studio and where she is involved in the heart of the artistic community in her region.
