Shelly Moreau

I've been painting for about 30 years, but only create pieces sporadically. Until 2020, my work was given as gifts to family and friends, along with a number of works kept for my own enjoyment (including some of my favourites at the time).

My main subject is (and always has been) nature and landscapes - mainly winter scenes (my inspiration coming from the artist Kornelius Kreighoff).

My output increased significantly in autumn 2019, with an impulse from a close friend, pushing me back into it. Prior to that, I hadn't really painted for nearly 10 years. Happily, since the end of 2019, I've produced over a dozen pieces, and sold a number of them via an online social media exhibition.

My hope is to create a more professional profile with an exhibition-to create a welcoming presence, and offer creative, accessible art for people to enjoy in their own spaces.
