Artistic approach

Hello, thank you for visiting my profile. Being an artist is my childhood dream. I've taken a few classes here and there but haven't found the creative vein. Self-taught in drawing since childhood, the need to realize my dream of becoming an artist became a growing need. This led me to take a leap of faith in 2020, just before the Pandemic. It was a leap of faith to enroll in the Creative Visionary Program CVP 2020 given by internationally renowned American artist Nicholas Wilton. This intensive program gave me a solid foundation for expressing my artistic sensibility.

Since CVP, my artistic practice has been lively and regular. My goal is to become a full-time artist.

As an emerging artist, I enjoy exploring abstract art, feeling colors, trusting my intuition to guide me and letting the work manifest itself.

When I start a painting, I don't have a specific image or concept in mind. I start with spontaneous, dynamic gestures. I play with textures by applying superimposed layers, and also by removing layers by scraping. The process is a moment of spontaneity and exploration, of play and a form of meditation.

I like to leave traces of the process by leaving marks of mistakes, unforeseen events, accidents and adjustments; I find that this enriches and deepens the work.

I feel that a work has a life of its own. I want to serve as an instrument to let the work reveal itself.

My environment inspires me... nature, clouds, birds, plants and the sky. I aspire to reflect sensitivity in my paintings. I use acrylic as my main medium, along with other mixed techniques such as pastel and pencil.
