About the work

Accalmie is a work created in 2023, using mixed media such as acrylics, pigments, spray paint and gold leaf on a 30x20-inch canvas. The work aims to capture the sense of calm that follows a storm. In this work, colors fade to reflect the lull that settles in after the storm, and movement is also suggested by the choice of textures and composition. Calm pastel tones are combined with a monochromatic color palette to create a sense of harmony and calm. The colors blend and intertwine, creating a calm, serene atmosphere. Accalmie evokes a feeling of peace and relaxation. The sides are painted black and the work is varnished. Certificate of authenticity supplied with the work.
