About the work
My inspiration came from a castle I visited in Italy on vacation. As I was look out to the sea , I could imagine a maiden. With a few pictures I took and a picture And saw on a pamphlet I started to paint. I didn’t have any real directions. I just painted what I had seen in my mind’s eye. I feel it came out pretty good and was a true emotion I felt while in that castle.
