About the work

I have started a series where I add some colours to the surface of the canvas and then lay object from my surroundings. For example: Ferns, twigs, branches, leaves, buds etc.
I then spatter small drips of dark colours over the surface on top of the ferns etc. I let that dry and then remove the objects. Then I work into the surface with more colour, greys etc.
I am inspired by the cave drawing technique. The more primitive the better. Just suggestion of shapes that will be looked at for many many years to come.
