About the work

Move a été créé en pensant au changement, au déménagement, à la perte et à l'état d'âme face à l'inconnu. L'idée de ce qu'est l'inconnu est souvent perçu avec effroi et évitement. J'ai joué avec cette idée vague et flou qui nous engouffre et qui nous place dans ce courant d'incertitude face à ce que nous vivons tous en temps de pandémie.
La gestuelle violente et saccadée qu'on ressent à travers cette oeuvre, avec ces coups de palettes, ces éraflures et ces éclaboussures, démontre la peur face à ce changement. Elle balaie toutes les émotions dans son élan!
Différents outils ont été utilisés pour la réalisation de cette peinture à l'acrylique.

Move was created with the though of change, relocation, loss and the state of mind in the face of the unknown. The idea of ​​what the unknown is and mean is often viewed with dread and avoidance. I played with this vague conception though which engulfs us and which put us in this flow of uncertainty in front of what we are all living now in this times of pandemic.
The violent and jerky gestures that it shown through this work, with the knife strokes, the scratches and the splashes, demonstrate the fear in which we have in the face of change. In it momentum those movement sweeps away all the emotions in its way!
