About the work
This piece is part of my September789 Series. This series was influenced by California’s devastating 2020 fire season. As a resident of NorCal and Butte County, these were some of the state’s hardest hit areas during that season.
This set of works were born out of the September 7th 8th and 9th, when the smoke caused an eerie color to overtake the sky for 3 days.
