About the work
This watercolor lingered on my work table for a long time after the first 2 coats of primer. I couldn't decide where to start and what techniques to use to bring out the bark. Then, one morning, I woke up and knew what I had to do. It still took me over 3 weeks to complete, working in sections of about 5cm square at a time. What a painstaking job!
