About the work
I love painting bears. I remember walking up the Rockies in August here in Canada and I was longing to see one of these beautiful creatures. I went to the peak of a mountain and their was a cave that looked like a place where a bear would hibernate. I am capturing the feeling of that moment with this piece. The feeling of fear and curiosity.
