About the work

"Toronto by the night" is an artwork inspired by the beautiful skyline of Toronto as seen from the Toronto island. This original skyline artwork is made with gold leaf and acrylics. The background is shades of black, deep blue, purple and with a very light sprinkle of glitter to represent stars in a clear sky. The background appears like deep blue in a room setting and the various shades are visible when direct sunlight falls on the painting.
