The first in a new series imagined by Watson is simply named "Black And White" and each with its number. They are acrylic and a larger size modern minimal and majestic abstract.

A contemporary vibe of gesturally added paint on canvas to become a focal point in a contemporary space.

The artist is intrigued at how the blackness of the piece can draw you in as if it is possible to be inside the art.
It has always been her desire to create a minimal series with this in mind.
While most of her originals are filled with graffiti shapes, colours and textures she has gone to a place to create with less image and the hopes to give the observer an infinite and limitless look into the art.

Drawn in by the depth of the areas with an absence of light to be engulfed in what she helps you feel with the piece.

Watson would also like to mention that as in many of her originals this piece also could be installed in a portrait or landscape orientation.

Note: many of the artist's paintings are created on her studio floor or the wall so there may be some rippling noted. Never to worry as when the canvas is professionally stretched these will all go away. With the large and extra-large works that she creates, it is sometimes hard to grab that perfect shot as you would with an original that is on a stretcher already.
