As a child I drew constantly, on any scrap piece of paper I could find, but by the time I was a teenager art had all but slipped out of my life besides the occasional doodle. Around my 28th birthday I started to draw again, but I decided to trying painting with watercolour as it’s the medium of choice for most of my biggest influences. Here we are now, a little over four years later, with my own style and a few piles of art. I don’t use reference for anything, to my detriment or not who knows, but I feel without it everything I put on the page is authentically me, without a filter or preconceptions just art from my head to my hand. Art at its purest and rawest form.
