For me, this is about life in a fishing family. Peace returns, grey intervals pass and the sun shines. Lots of colour, the happy and the ordinary makes for a good combination. There is a constant calm sea that carries across each vertical band.

The collage uses acrylic paint on acid-free tissue paper. The tissue has been adhered to 290g watercolour paper with Golden soft gel medium and given a final layer of protection with Golden UV satin varnish.
