The Green Palm series is a humorous approach on urban landscape. The series explores the beauty of nature's palms with litter in our line of vision questioning what are we really contributing to urban culture. "Santa Monica" is part of a series of photographs taken while the artist was living in Los Angeles. Looking at these images, we feel as if we’re on a road trip, gazing up at the serene palm trees that reach toward the infinite blue. The combination of analogue on-camera filtration, Photoshop and metallic quality paper all add to the surreal effect.
