About the work

Based on a poem by Linda Green Abraham.

"a silent shroud
of cloud
creeps through forest
and around rock
to come to rest
at last
in the outstretched arms
of fir and cedar transforming emerald, moss and sage
to grey, white and silver
covering each trunk and twig with silky webs
that melt into the chill air
obscuring the verge of sea and sky
evoking notions of enchantment
conjuring misty dragons
that breathe icy fog
the magic pervades
every being, every crevasse
of the natural and ethereal
we watch
and fall silent, too"
