About the work

I have a love affair with paper and what putting paint on it will do unlike canvas. For example, in my Color and Movement works, the color stands out perfectly because of how smooth it is due to the smoothness of the paper. The color really shines and it moves with grace and glides so gently, with such purity across the smooth surface, when I move it with the palette knife. My main focus on this body of work is to let the color do it's thing, to let it show off in a way that can only work on paper. It makes me feel alive, happy, giddy almost to see the colors glow, almost, as they do, the way they should!

This is an original oil painting with polyurethane on Strathmore Vellum paper and is 24” x 19." It is also sprayed with an archival coating. It will arrive mounted on a rigid 1/4" thick archival, acid free foam core support along with a small foamcast hanger set that you can use to mount to the wall before you decide if you want to frame the piece or not.

This piece will be sent between 4 pieces of sturdy cardboard via USPS Priority 2-3 day Priority Mail within the Continental US. Outside the US it will take approximately 6-10 business days and you will be provided a tracking number, on all sales.
