About the work

I'm interested in the way technology infiltrates our lives and disrupts our relationship with real space. I've tried to create a sense of rupture between two worlds.
My aim is to raise awareness of our own state of technological absorption. The tearing of the paper is a visual metaphor for the rupture with reality, prompting the viewer to reflect on his or her own presence in the moment.
This work is an artistic representation of the question: Where are we really when we're online?

Dualité holds up a mirror to our times, when the boundaries between real and virtual are increasingly blurred.
