About the work

The original image was reworked with digital graphics programs, I isolated some details and enlarged them. What interests me is finding the difference (the different final images) within the repetition (the only starting image), and this is the thread that binds the whole project.
In these series it is hard to even recognize the original subject, as the detail takes a life of its own. What interests me is not a mere representation of the real object; I want the result to be a set of shapes and colors that I like.
