About the work

"Opna" is an experimental mixed media artwork, blending collage and thread techniques to create an abstract and slightly surreal composition. Although no literal eye is present, the term, which means "membrane," suggests an abstract relationship to the concept of an eye. The artist is inspired by the idea of provoking viewers to think about the underlying layers of perception and reality. "What you don't see won't hurt you" serves as a motto, inviting viewers to embrace the mystery and engage in a contemplative exploration of the boundaries between what is seen and what remains concealed.
