About the work

Painted using some texture on the canvas to accentuate the mountains. This was created after the Covid lockdown ended in British Columbia and there were expectations about how to engage again with others.

Universal Message heard when painting was completed:
"After times of peaceful withdrawal the mere suggestion of reentering an active life may be repulsive. On the other hand, continuing to hold yourself aloof could create criticisms. When charting your own course, check your desires, intentions and motives while ignoring the expectations and judgment of others."
