About the work

"It's all about trees" - is a series of 3 single paper-cut artworks, ( also includes Graceful Giant and High Above )

Media - Paper-Cut. Heavy stock specialty paper cut (high-end artisan wallpaper). Paper is carved with scalpel. Work is mounted and framed under glass.
This piece is enclosed in a light box (batteries powered). When the lights are dimmed or turned off, artwork will become illuminated by a soft glow which brings the piece to a very different look.

"I am fascinated by trees, by their variety of shapes, textures, and colours. I have become more and more grateful to these giants for their importance in our habitats and our lives. I am indebted to these silent beauties for inspiring my art for as long as I can remember."
