About the work

So many things got on hold during the covid19 pandemic. School graduation ceremonies, celebrations, sport competitions and many other events got postponed. Waiting, waiting - People in all ages have been ready to continue their lives immediately, when the pandemic situation gets better, when the time is right. The waiting has last for months.
In my acrylic painting the Hibiscus is like people in pandemic: The bush is full of buds to bloom, but all of them are in the waiting stage. When the time is right, all of them will open to a beautiful flower. When the pandemic will be over, people will open up to each other again and bloom with joy.
