Anne Cardin is a painter born in 1963 in Quebec (Canada). From an early age, she developed a taste for observation, drawing flowers in the garden of her suburban house or making portraits of members of her family.

In elementary and secondary school, it is the aspiring artist who creates birthday cards, drawings for the school newspaper or caricatures of her classmates, Anne Cardin becomes the official designer of her school. She enrolled in photography classes at age 14, a passion she still enjoys today. At 16, she went to Cégep in plastic arts and then learned her profession as a plastic arts teacher at the University. These years were devoted to acquiring knowledge in art history, didactics and various artistic techniques (painting, sculpture, printing art, photography, etc.).

Anne Cardin, a "Cartesian" artist, shares her knowledge, her experiments and her observations in her paintings, rich in 30 years of teaching plastic arts in high school, pushing the elements of plastic language to translate her emotions.
