A self-taught artist, I struggle with visual art because it's good for me to create alone with myself. Born in 1975, in the south-west of Montreal, I started painting at the turn of the 90s to fill a certain void created by writing, poetry and music. Influenced as much by poetry and music as by his socio-political environment, Bent strives to bring out the desire to turn life upside down through abstract art.
