Bradley Pattison

Bradley W. Pattison attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. In 1966 he moved to New York. The summer of 1968 he relocated to Provincetown, Massachusetts on Cape Cod. Soon after meeting one of Provincetown’s most respected painters, Bonnie Whittingham, the direction of his life changed forever. Whittingham told him he had the hands of a painter and invited him to come and work at her studio. In 1972 Pattison moved to Tucson, Arizona to begin his autodidact journey in earnest. Painting seemed to come to Pattison easily, but it would take until the late 1970s before he found his voice as a painter. Pattison combines his passion for painting with his love for travel. He has circumnavigated the world three times and has also done extensive over land adventure travel. He spent the month of September, 2022 painting at the Chateau Orquevaux Artist Residency in France. His practice is supported by the patronage of collectors and commissioned works and by gallery representation.
