Plateaus of South America
This drawing was meant to be a representation of plateaus that can be found throughout South America. In this drawing I mainly focus on showing the rocky grassland and the deep shadows created by the rocks ,having the massive plateau be a backdrop for the drawing. The reason I created this drawing was because I was doing some research on the landforms of South America as I did know much about it, and learning about the plateaus and how the top of these features can be such a different environment to the land bellow gave me inspiration to create it in drawn form.
Golden Veins
Being one of my few abstract paintings to date, this piece turned out to be my favourite and my favourite to paint. Figuring out how I wanted to grey and white to mix and look together took some time but turned out great. The main focus of the painting the golden streak from top to bottom was an aspect added after the fact when I thought the painting was missing something.
