My name is David Turenne and I have been a visual artist, illustrator and graphic designer for over 15 years now.

I was very young when I started to have a passion for drawing and comics. My uncle was also an illustrator and I couldn't help but be in awe when he drew my favorite superheroes in combat stance, weapon in hand and in full detail.

That's when I knew I wanted to do this with my life. I wanted to make illustrations so that people could feel something and react when looking at them.

I am influenced by the punk rock movement, existentialism, nihilism, surrealism, fantastic stories, the absurd and my memories.

I began to deepen my interest in the arts through several events in my life. Whether it was the suicide of my best friend, the failure of my most important romantic relationship of my life or even the summers when my cousin came to babysit me when I was younger.

It is due to these milestones that I developed my art and gained in creativity. It is also by immersing myself in these memories and reminiscences that I manage to express myself fully through my works and realise myself and stand out.

I also like to convey a metaphorical and/or metaphysical idea or meaning in my illustrations, lots of light effects and bright colors.
