Day Pajarillo

Day Pajarillo is a Filipino Canadian immigrant who came to Camada under a work permit for Tim Hortons in 2008. She jas a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts majored in Painting and worked as a fashion designer in the Philippines and in Qatar. She is a single parent who left her country to support her child, who was able to join her in 2015 as a planet resident. Day is now a grandmother of two. For 10 years she worked in the food industry service, in 2018 she followed her passion and true profession as a full time visual artist. Currently she is doing a project for the city of Calgary in the northeast quadrant and has a public art memorial project installed permanently last Oct 2021 for the Calgary Homeless Foundation.
