I was born in 1964 in the beautiful tourist town of Disraeli on the shores of Lac Aylmer. Having left as a child, my mother and I spent at least 10 years in Sherbrooke, before moving back to Thetford Mines at the age of 18.

From an early age, I've always been drawn to the arts: drawing, coloring, gouache and paint-by-numbers. But I've always kept my pencils to scribble a drawing.

So, in 2010, I decided to take oil painting classes, thanks to my partner's conviction. For me, painting is a means of escape, allowing us to live out a passion while transporting an image from the mind onto canvas, or a moment lived and seen. And, to complete my art, I took intensive courses in painting composition and color knowledge. With all these years of experimentation and effort, I've finally found what sets me apart from other artists. In other words, my own style, with colors that bring joy to life!

My painting technique is spatula, a mixed technique using brushes and oils. I'm a landscape painter and colorist. I love nature, because for me it's a great source of energy and beauty. I love putting everything "natural" on canvas, from my cousin's outfitters to the rocks and water of Quebec's north shore. I'm inspired by subjects "seen" on our hikes in the countryside, or by photos taken on our travels. What a pleasure to be able to paint on canvas beautiful moments of nature, light and, above all, the colors of autumn...

Over the years, I've had the pleasure of exhibiting my work in a number of restaurants, Cégeps, festivals, group shows at various venues, symposiums and two years in a row at Carrefour Frontenac in Thetford Mines. And a vernissage at the Station des arts de Thetford.
