Guylaine Ruel

Having always been interested in art, my career path was clear, I aimed to be a graphic designer. My studies at the Cegep du Vieux Montreal included art history, pictorial composition, colors and observational sketching/drawing. From then on, I migrated toward painting.
In the vast world of visual art, artists have several ways to express themselves. Personally, I enjoy painting my subjects as realistically as possible through a luminous colour palette. The nature surrounding me is an infinite source of inspiration and more specifically, I find that animals are what I am fascinated by most.
