Biography:
Based in Montreal, Canada, Hoda Ackad is increasingly showing her works in the United States and internationally at museums, art centers, galleries and numerous other venues.
In 2016, two of her works were featured on a billboard in central Los Angeles, California for The Billboard Creatives.
In 2015, she was a participant in the Help Hope Nepal Mural project, during Art Basel Miami.
In 2018 some of her large portraits were exhibited at Place des Arts in Montreal, Canada during a last tribute to Gradimir Pankov, artistic director meritus of Les Grands Ballets Canadiens.
She has shown her works and was interviewed on television, in newspapers, catalogues, and in films.
She is a recipient of many awards from international exhibitions.
Her extensive experience in life drawing and painting and her love for experimentation with different materials and styles brought her full circle to her current Magical Reality Series.
