For five decades my life has revolved around art and music. In my art college years I also pursued my passion for music and ever since have travelled and traversed both creative paths. As a musician, singer-songwriter and recording artist, which also included a number of award-winning CD recordings for children, I've explored various musical genres. Similarly, my visual art has manifested itself in multiple directions. Currently I would describe my art as a kind of visual poetry, or music expressed through the energy of colour, form, rhythm and design. Whether with realism or abstraction, the transition from one to the other is no big stretch for me but simply a matter of perspective with my viewpoint looking outward or inward. My chosen mediums are acrylic, oil pastel, mixed media and linocut or woodcut block printing.
