Julie Lacasse

Born in Montreal in 1974 and still residing there, Julie Lacasse is a self-taught artist who studied philosophy and literature at university.
She has taken various training courses throughout her career and has participated in/organized several group and solo exhibitions and events.

With a strong taste for renovation and design, she returned to school at the age of 42 to obtain her DEC in Interior Design.

Her passion for visual arts has been a constant, and after battling brain cancer in 2020 at the same time as the global Covid-19 pandemic raged, she returns to her art charged with new visions, sensations and motivations. Her recent works testify to this experience.
