I am a Covid-19 generation artist. At least, visual artist since my career as a musician is already established. As my husband embarked on "great" painting, my father's memories of calligraphy sparked multiple inspirations. I have long had a great admiration for Art Nouveau and Art Deco, and the artists who illustrated them: from Mucha to Frank Lloyd Wright via Klimt, Gaudi, Lempicka and many others.
My love of color comes from the art of stained glass - France has a great history of modern stained glass - as well as the creations of Louis Comfort Tiffany ; it pushes me towards lively, dazzling creations. The "Étals" series goes back to basics with each canvas in its own tone. The "Dog" series combines color with abstract geometric shapes, they can evoke known shapes or not. You may also encounter my beloved instrument: the great organ, in some creations.
