Mitchell Seeyu who was born and raised in Hong Kong, mainly dwelled in Chinese painting as artistic practice. Before coming to Canada, Seeyu has held nine solo exhibitions in Hong Kong since 2016. Most of them are sponsored by Hong Kong Arts Development Council, educational institutes, NGO and private gallery. She received stipends in a few international artist residencies. Seeyu aimed to apply the lines of Chinese painting and ink rhyme to express her sentiments. The artist is dedicated to exploring a wider artistic perspective to portray a more beautiful world.
