I started painting at the very beginning of the retreat, when a friend invited me to a workshop and it was a revelation. It "started me off", as they say. With each painting I do, I discover new techniques, either by pure chance or by taking inspiration from painters I love. Whether it's playing with colors and shadows, using paste and different forms of stencils..., I love starting a project. I go with my inspiration! I love working with faces and animals.
