Luc Alain

Luc Alain is from Ottawa (now living in Gatineau) loves art and creativity in all forms, be it visual art, music or theater. Art is for him a way to escape and is in some way even therapeutic. His ventures into art have made him travel through many art materials to express his heartfelt creativity. Most of his work has been published since 1995, illustrating children's & educational books (The Proud Little Ant, 2004), documentaries (Polygamy in Canada, 2007), magazines (Ottawa Life), weekly papers (Low Down to Hull and Back) and the list continues. Humor and editorial gags have been a successful market for him over many years, but from times to time will crossover to greater canvases using acrylic, pastel and charcoal.
