Growing up in Montreal, I was immersed in the city's arts and cultures from an early age. Rich in everything it has to offer, Montreal has been a real treasure trove for me, enriching my imagination. Over the years, I've expressed myself in many different ways, through dance, writing, drawing and crafts of all kinds. I took stained-glass classes, but didn't fall under the spell right away. When my children were teenagers, I went back to school and graduated 2 years later with a diploma in computer graphics.

A few years later, I discovered stained glass on canvas, and it was love at first sight! A neighbor, an excellent painter whose talent I admired, visited my home and saw one of my canvases, so he encouraged me to enter it in a symposium. Which I did, after he had almost mailed my application himself! That same year, my portfolio was selected by a jury for a competitive exhibition, and I sold my first 4 paintings, including one to an artist who was there! Since then, I've gone from strength to strength, taking part in several events and having the great pleasure of being offered a solo exhibition!

A new artist in full maturity, I express myself frankly about the world around us; sometimes subtly, sometimes in a way that leaves no doubt about my message.
A self-taught artist, my passions for India and the animal world influence my work.
My training as a computer graphics artist means that I try to focus on my subject in different ways.
My original technique forces me to always go beyond my blinkers, and it's through experimentation that my art is refined.

I choose my subject and learn as much as I can about it. I immerse myself in them. Often it's the subjects who choose me, as if I were their vector, their spokesperson.

I like to paint the ties that bind us to the planet's living beings, ties of love and tenderness, but also of indifference and cruelty. Because I believe that an image is better than shouting and violence, I use it to express myself without making a fuss. I give a voice to those who have none, in the hope of awakening an emotion, a fraternal feeling for all living species on Earth. In love with Life in all its forms, I depict it with my heart, my music and my vibrant, original technique. I hope to inspire you to cherish this life, the planet and the animals that inhabit it.
My work is an ode to life, a cry from the heart to preserve it!
