BIOGRAPHy

Madouellet was born and raised in Lac-St-Jean, Quebec (Canada). This grandiose, enveloping nature is still the source of her main inspirations. As a child, her best memories are of art classes. As a teenager, it was a painting exhibition that revealed her passion. And it was when she moved to the beautiful city of Quebec that her artistic adventure took shape, with college and university studies in the visual arts. In 1986, the Master Impressionists exhibition was a real revelation for her, and it was in the studio of painter Yvon Lemieux that she honed her vision and brushstrokes.

Now retired from her nursing career, she considers art to be a meditation, a necessary care. She seeks to express the silent beauty of the world around her on canvas.

Along the way, she invites us to travel and daydream, metaphorically following the paths of life that lead us to nature. Suspend the march of time to capture a moment of eternity.
