MEHJABEEN SAIFULLAH

Mehjabeen Saifullah is a Toronto based painter and educator. She was born in Karachi,Pakistan.
She is a self taught artist who has spend her formative years in Pakistan under the guidance of Sir. Mashkoor Raza. She paints in oil, acrylic and makes ink drawings. She specializes more in landscapes.
She received her specialized BFA(Hons) in Visual arts. She also acquired B.Ed from York university with a concentration in visual arts as a teachable. She has been an elementary teacher for the past 17 years with TDSB. She is a specialist in special needs and learning disability. She has worked extensively with learning disabled students and have practised and taught art passionately.
She moved to Canada in 1991 and has been living since in Toronto with her two daughters, husband and their cat Coconut.
