Mélissa Beaulieu is an abstract artist who works and lives in Drummondville, Vancouver and Calgary, Canada. Born in Drummondville, Quebec, in 1982, she studied graphic design and visual art in Montreal and at UQTR in Trois-Rivières.

"I believe, in fact, that life is a composition of moments and events through which we evolve and which define us as individuals.
In the same vein, I create my paintings by applying different brushstrokes and colors that reflect my energy and emotion of the moment. I don't visualize the final product of a canvas, preferring to opt for a creative process that brings my work to life by following a natural evolution in its conception. For me, art must be inspired by life both in its realization and in its purest expression."

She has donated some of her work to fundraising events and charities.
