Nadine Track

Nadine’s journey starts as a young woman in the middle of one of the most iconic civil wars of the 20th century in Lebanon. It was during these bloody and dark times that she, as a Red Cross volunteer, took up photography as a means of making sense of the war, capturing for posterity moments that left her homeland in ruins. As the war wound up, Nadine studied communication arts and began to work with major advertising companies (e.g. Saatchi & Saatchi and Grey WorldWide) as an agency creative. She moved to Quebec a decade ago where she pursued further education in digital photography and then launched her career as a professional street photographer also shooting portraits, sports events, advertising and fashion. She then merged her passion for art and photography (e.g. “painterly photography”) to tell the stories wrought from her imagination and the world around her.

Today, Nadine’s work see’s her travelling the globe to Africa, the Americas, Europe , the Middle East and elsewhere. She has displayed her work in Beirut, Dubai, Montreal, Toronto and other Art Fairs as a solo exhibitor. Nadine’s signature technique of embedding light into her art on metallic surfaces, Luminous canvas and silver glass has landed her special distinctions in art fairs, e.g. Spectrum Miami (2018) & Artexpo New York (2019) as the most original booth and one of the top 5 discoveries, respectively. Her work transforms 2D pieces into 3D pieces that never quite look the same, changing their look as the viewer moves.
