BIOGRAPHY
Oprina-Felicia Dolea was born in Romania in 1961. Her passion for drawing and painting began in childhood. In the late 1970s, she studied plastic arts at the Lycée d'art in Galati, Romania, specializing in drawing, decoration and restoration. In 1982, she began her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts within the framework of the University of Plastic Arts Iasi, Romania, and subsequently obtained her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Pedagogy degrees in 1984, as well as her diploma in clothing design in 1994. Since 2006, the artist has lived in the Laval region of Canada. In 2007, Oprina obtained her diploma in plastic arts (drawing, watercolor, acrylic, pastel and oil) from the Institut de Formation Professionnelle de Montréal.
Oprina prefers to work in acrylic and oil paints with a spatula. In her paintings, the combination of lines, colors and shapes offers an infinite range of possibilities and an aesthetic unity that gives birth to an authenticity and personality all her own.
