Orlando Basulto (1968)

Painter and sculptor of Cuban origin, holder of a baccalaureate in plastic Arts 1991 at the Academy of Arts Camaguey Cuba, training and artist residencies complete his career. His work has been presented in solo exhibitions and several group exhibitions. His creations are found by collectors in different countries. His work tells of the various awards and recognitions, including the award of excellence awarded by the Mont-St-Hilaire Quebec Museum of fine arts. Owner of his own art gallery in his native village, the artist is represented by Artmajeur.com, Artelista.com, and Gallea.com, as well as social media. In his professional experiences one could name his fifteen years as professor of plastic arts in Cuba, fashion designer, interior decorator and ceramicist. In Quebec, chronicle of the art magazine "L'artiste en moi", host of the Rawdon Quebec College of Champagneur. He is a member of the Lanaudière culture, a member of the artist' repertoire on the hexagon platform, a member of the Cuban association of Artisans and Artists, a member of the Cuban artist' and creators' register.
