Pauline Vohl

I work in watercolor, acrylic and mixed media. I'm inspired by light, vibrant colors, movement and the first spurts of paint on paper. Over the years, I've developed my own style while constantly researching. I try out different supports, mediums and techniques - in short, anything that provokes texture and pleasant surprises.


I'm particularly fond of working with silk paper. A few brushstrokes and the creative process begins. The results are often unpredictable, revealing beautiful discoveries that allow my creativity to express itself.


My palette favors warm, cheerful tones. My works exude joie de vivre. My favorite themes are flowers, fruit, landscapes and sometimes abstracts.
