From a young age, I was drawn to art on all levels. I contemplated everything I saw as works with curiosity and admiration, for the work and the talent it took to achieve them.
One day, I decided to enroll at the University of Quebec in Montreal in the plastic arts program, but life meant that I could not continue my studies in the art field.
But later in life, when I decided to take a year off from my work as an early childhood educator, I was fortunate enough to take oil painting lessons from different artists. I started to paint reproductions in order to learn and experiment with different techniques.
I liked all subjects and all styles, still life, landscapes, animals etc., but I was always drawn to portraits, until one day I was able to take painting portrait lessons given by an excellent artist, and throughout my journey, I have participated in several community exhibitions.
So since my preventive retirement, I have devoted myself to my passion for oil painting, especially portraits, and I have developed my own style.
At the beginning, I painted the portraits of members of the family and friends, until the day, I decided to make my series "Regards des enfants du monde", a subject which has always fascinated me and close to my heart... Kids
