Sheila Newell

I am a self taught artist. Born and raised by the sea in Pictou Nova Scotia, I grew up by the water but didn't really appreciate it until I moved further inland. After a several decades involved in various artistic pursuits including writing for Radio, I turned to painting. My preferred medium is acrylics because they dry fast!! I am 'neurodivergent' (formerly referred to as ADHD). I like neurodivergent much better. Anyway-y-y-y. I don't have the patience to wait for oils to dry do...acrylics it is. I love a bright color palette and lean to a whimsical style with slanty houses and twisted trees. Hope what you see makes you smile.
