Sophie Ruel is a watercolor painter specializing in vibratory art. Since 2019, she has been delivering works on supports made from recycled materials that she crafts in an eco-design approach. "The freedom I've given myself as a watercolorist is to present a work on paper without being dependent on the process of framing or buying canvas-frame canvas. This is how it is now possible for me to do better with less in an improved ecological awareness by reclaiming materials as a support for my art." SRuel Sophie wants the viewer to marvel at one of her works, while leaving room for the message delivered by the unconscious. Her aim is to provide the viewer with an energetically vibrant experience.

Self-taught and instinctive, Sophie Ruel is a watercolor painter. She is uninterested in technique and prefers to develop her art with only her unconscious as her primary artistic influence. She paints in a spontaneous, raw manner. She has an artistic gesture all her own. That's why her works emanate such authenticity.
